A  great way to add color and creativity to any room in your house is to paint a section with chalkboard paint. Hudson Paint (www.hudsonpaint.com) offers the most amazing selection of colors. My favorites include open sky blue and bon bonbon pink for a childrens room (finally they can color on the walls!) and strong addiction brown/designer special grey as a perfect accent in the kitchen (you can jot down a recipe or a menu).

One of my favorite shelter magazines is House Beautiful as they feature many gorgeous rooms in a variety of styles.  Many magazines usually focus on  only one particular style (i.e. modern, traditional, country etc.) but I feel  that regardless of what style you prefer you can get great ideas from all types of decor.

I am so happy to have discovered “Creative Jewish Mom” a blog full of craft ideas, recipes and fabulous pictures from a frum mom living in Israel. One of my favorite projects that she did was to frame some leftover wallpaper for her childrens room.
